Biological Resource Centers for domestic animals

CRB-Anim brings together the Biological Resource Centers (BRCs) that manage genomic or reproductive resources for domesticated animal species bred in France and their wild relatives (mammals, birds, fish, shellfish, etc.).

It concerns animals for breeding or companionship, in partnership with breeders' associations or selection companies. It supports research into genetic diversity, breeding and biomedical models.

CRB-Anim is the animal pillar of the RARe national research infrastructure.
