Partner 1 is a member of ABIES (AgroParisTech) and GAO (Evry, Versailles-St-Quentin Universities) graduate schools. AgroParisTech is the coordinator of the european graduate school on animal breeding and genetics, an Erasmus-Mundus joint doctoral program.
A one week doctoral course will be proposed in years 4, 6 and 8 on the management of animal genetic resources. Self-supported by registration fees.
A one week doctoral course will be proposed in year 5 and 7 on the physiology of animal reproduction, alternating with the doctoral course in animal genetics
These courses will be organised with video recording for distant participants, particularly those from the nodes of CRB-Anim. Specific laboratory training will be offered in Tours (cell culture room with laminar hoods two incubators, one micro-injection platform set up on an inverted microscope equiped with Nomarsky phase contrast, and an inverted fluorescence microscope). Freezing and thawing semen, in vitro fertilization in mice are already set up in routine within the master course of Reproductive Biology.
CRB-Anim will support a call for co-funding of PhD fellowships open to academic institutions or private partners that will be managed by FRB in addition to the call for research projects ; PhD projects will have to be approved by one of the graduate schools to which CRB-Anim partners are affiliated. It is expected to support 6 PhD projects in total, between years 4 and 8 of the project.
